Attila Borzak-Your Liberal Democrat Candidate for Bosmere
Attila Says"I was born in the City of Westminster and was educated in North London, in the Borough of Haringey. While I was growing up there, Jeremy Corbyn served as a local councillor and Bernie Grant was my MP. From 1995 to 2021 I lived and worked in Hertfordshire, concentrating on my family.
As the COVID lockdowns were ending, we moved to Needham Market and quickly grew to love the community and surrounding countryside.
I have been politically active with the Liberal (Democratic) Party since my mid-teens, for over 50 years! Even then, I was a committed environmentalist, campaigning for alternative energy technologies and the gradual phasing out of coal long before these issues entered the political mainstream.
My political choices have always been guided by practicality rather than ideology. I chose not to do the “Cool thing” and join the Labour Party, which at the time I believed prioritised hard-left ideology over workable solutions for people and the planet. Nor did I feel at home in the Ecology (now Green) Party, whose rigid dogma and ideological purism, in my view, often stood in the way of realistic and effective environmental progress.
The current Green Party reminds me of the Labour party in the 70’s and 80’s
I am, and always have been, a strong believer in community politics and bottom-up government—where power rests with local people. My aim is simple: practical environmentalism, accountable local decision-making, and politics that puts people before ideology.""

Reform GAIN from Liberal Democrat
Across England there is anA&E Crisis
500,000 waited over 12 hours on trollies after a decision to admit them
In 2025, 1.5 million people in England waited 12 hours or more in A&E.
“ Excess deaths linked to long A&E waits increased to over 16,600 last year” (Royal College of Emergancy Medicine)
The Liberal Democrats are leading the fight to fix the A&E crisis
The Liberal Democrats believe fixing the crisis in our A&Es should be a top priority.
Their plan would end 12 hour waits and hospital ‘corridor care’ within a year.
The Liberal Democrats are calling for:
- 6,000 extra hospital beds available to end corridor care within a year.
- Investment in 1,000 more staffed hospital beds.
Extra investment in social care to reserve 1,600 “safety net” social care places each day, for hospitals to discharge into if they need to.
- Extra step-down care, freeing up 1,200 beds a day.
- More beds to be made available in care homes and hospitals.
It’s time for real action to fix the crisis in our A&Es.
Liberal Democrat Attila Borzak says “For too long people have suffered with degrading waits and treatment in hospital corridors. Our NHS staff are working so hard, but they’ve been let down by successive governments. It’s time for real action to fix this.”
