Thanks to the actions of Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats and Robin Lawrence, dangerous paving is in the process of being replaced in Sweetman Street. Robin Lawrence was concerned for residents, visitors and local children when he discovered the very poor state of repair of the paved areas. Slabs were loose and uneven: a dangerous hazard for all.
Park Focus Team members were shocked by the build up of litter in Walpole Street. Invited to visit the area by resident Adam Billington Robin Lawrence, Liberal Democrat Candidate for Park Ward was appalled by the state of the street. Mr Billington told Robin that Walpole Street has a good community feel although, as a father of a young child, he worries about the dangers of broken glass and litter on his family.
