Campbell challenges Prime Minister over BAE Scandal
At yesterday's PMQs Liberal Democrat Leader Sir Ming Campbell quizzed Tony Blair over the BAE affair, asking him which minister was answerable for the decision to withhold information about payments made by the Ministry of Defence to Prince Bandar. Following the Prime Minister's response in which he took responsibility for this decision, Sir Ming Campbell asked the PM to tell the House: "what payments have been made since 2002? What he knew about these payments and when he knew? And what legal advice he took after these payments after the law changed here in 2002? And finally whatever happened to Robin Cook's foreign policy with an ethical dimension?"
