Kendall celebrates refurbished Brentwood Station
Lib Dem County Councillor David Kendall was invited to the grand opening of the refurbished Brentwood Station last week and was joined at the event by a number of other people including the Chairman of the Brentwood Bus & Rail Users Association (BBARUA) Wendy Way.

MP welcomes decision to build 60 affordable homes but much more needs to be done
South Lakes MP Tim Farron has today welcomed the news that South Lakeland District and the National Park authorities have been able to secure funds for a further 60 affordable homes but he has said that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Closure of Essex recycling centres to be reviewed
Plans by Essex County Council to close the Recycling Centres at St Osyth and High Ongar will be reviewed. Liberal Democrat councillors 'called-in' the Cabinet decision to the review committee and this met with widespread support yesterday (17 November).
