Green Waste Collection comes to Epsom and Ewell
At the end of November the council will be starting green waste collections. Residents can "buy" a brown 240 litre wheelie bin or a bag and have green waste collected fortnightly.

Lib Dem led Leicester City Council has pumped in approximately £1.5 million into the Taylor Rd Primary School project after consultation with the local community to address the growing needs of the St Matthew's area.

Southampton Airport discovers the Green Switch
At the Southampton Airport Stakeholders conference today there was even a small Green note to the airport expansion plans if that is not a too large contradiction in terms. The long term plan is to charge airlines different landing rates depending on the noise emissions of the aircraft.

Dundee Liberal Democrats welcome proposal to help more Scots establish businesses
Dundee Liberal Democrats have today (Saturday 18th November) welcomed the proposal by Scottish LibDem leader and Deputy First Minister Nicol Stephen MSP to introduce a plan for micro-finance in Scottish disadvantaged communities.
