Wessex Water have been given permission for a new "sludge digestion facility" at their Trowbridge works, subject to their producing an improved landscaping scheme.

Warminster Damask Way housing approved
The scheme is for the demolition of 66 Damask Way and the erection of 23 houses on the field behind it. Planning officers recommended permission despite strong objections from the town council and many local residents.

'Bedroom Tax' will hit home
Huge changes to housing benefit are on the way which will bring a tsunami of misery in their wake. Anyone of working age with a spare room in their house will lose 15 per cent of their benefit, 25 per cent if they have two spare rooms.

Kent Police update February 2012 - Sandgate
During January there has been only 1 reported incident of crime in the ward. A pedal cycle was stolen from outside Churchill House. I would remind anyone with a bike to use a good quality lock and secure the bike properly when not being used.
