Campbell sets out environmental challenge

In a hard-hitting speech in Norwich today, Sir Menzies Campbell, leader of the Liberal Democrats, spelt out the Liberal Democrat challenge on the environment. He criticised "A failure of nerve from the government. And a surfeit of spin from the Conservatives."

Liberal Democrats up to 28% in latest Opinion Poll

Bob Worcester of MORI has revealed that the Liberal Democrats are now on 28% in the areas that are having elections next Thursday. This is one the highest ever ratings for the Liberal Democrats and with still a week to go before the Election bodes well for the Liberal Democrats to make gains across Wolverhampton - particularly in Heathtown, Oxley, Park and St. Peters wards from Labour and Tettenhall Regis ward from the Conservatives.
