An analysis performed by the Liberal Democrats based upon English Heritage's Register of Buildings at Risk has found 179 buildings with a Conservation Deficit of £65 Million Pounds in the West Midlands.
Chesterfield MP Paul Holmes and local Staveley Councillor Mick Bagshaw attended the Derbyshire Army Cadets Annual Summer Camp in Ripon this week. Around 360 cadets, both male and female, are attending the camp for two weeks of adventures and expeditions. Paul and Cllr Bagshaw have already met the Staveley branch of the Army Cadets at a joint event with the Royal British Legion, but both said the insight gained from visiting the 2-week Summer camp was amazing.
