Alan Lion retired from BT after more than 30 years in the telecommunications industry. He has completed 2 years working as a member and consultant for the Communications Network, providing personal development opportunities and mentoring for young people in the communications industry and now has more time to spend on his community interest, as a teacher and manager of an adult IT programme. This programme is being operated conjunction with King Solomon High School. It enables people to overcome their fear of technology by providing the skills and confidence to benefit from the IT communications revolution.
