Dundee City Council has tonight (Tuesday 20th February) frozen its council tax for the 2007/08 financial year. The Band D figure will remain at £1 211 for the second year running.

Morehall campaigner Darren drew attention to the state of the underpass, its impact on tourists visiting our area, and the concerns of local people of using the tunnel at night.
Bedford Borough Liberal Democrats have reacted with grave concern to the news that air quality hotspots are spreading beyond those previously identified. Nitrogen Dioxide levels on an increasing number of roads in the town centre are exceeding government targets for air quality. Meanwhile, excessively high levels of this pollutant are also present at suburban sites such as Goldington Road and Ampthill Road.
