Email Spam: A New High

I get so much email spam that I hardly read it anymore - just hit delete. However, the below email arrived over the weekend, and was such a pleasure to read, I thought I'd share. Key reason for doing so was the very strong message that I absolutely shouldn't tell anyone about this email!

WC refuses most rate relief applications

Wiltshire Council has admitted that 62% of this financial year's applications have been kicked out. The figures come in reply to a question by Marlborough councillor Nick Fogg, and reveal that all three applications from Marlborough businesses have been refused. The amount of rebate given to those businesses which were successful amounts to just £7869 over the whole county.

Wiltshire Council still dithering on Kennet payments

Wiltshire Council has admitted that the scandal of 'Non-pensionable honoraria' payments made to officers of Kennet District Council in its dying days has not been resolved. In response to a series of questions from Hilperton councillor Ernie Clark council leader Jane Scott says that after four years of investigation, "The Council's legal team is now in a position to make recommendations as to next steps."
