Local Liberal Democrat member, John Bowden , who has probably done more than most people to ensure that the Tring & District Community Centre became the viable and well-used community asset that it is today, has been elected to Tring Town Council.
The result of the District Council Elections on 7th May was that Three Rivers District Council now has 19 Liberal Democrat councillors, 17 Conservative councillors and 3 Labour councillors.

Reading the Hemel Gazette this week, I was interested to note their article on Tring Station parking difficulties. Apparently, Rail bosses have blamed an 'incredible' rise in passenger numbers for the fact commuters cannot get parked at Tring railway station after 9am on weekdays.
