LGBT Lib Dems, the party body concerned with LGBT equality, has expressed disappointment in the delay to the Government's consultation into full marriage equality. Chair Adrian Trett said "We are confident that the Government will deliver on marriage equality, and will keep working with MPs and ministers until this is achieved."
Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie MSP has tabled an amendment to SNP MSP John Mason's motion on the Equal Marriage debate.

Reading Liberal Democrats are preparing for their biggest ever year at Reading Pride, adding their weight to a full removal of the blood ban on men who sleep with men and women who sleep with them, ahead of a Liberal Youth motion at Federal Conference. They will also be launching local activist Jamie Wake's project 'OK2BGay' in Reading.
