Community Chest Grants - Could YOUR Group apply?
Shepway Council have announced a second stage to their Community Chest funding programme, with another £35,000 available for local organisations. Grants of up to £5,000 are available for projects, plus one £20,000 grant in the year. Applications for the second phase of funding will be accepted up until 2nd November 2009.

No reason to keep the DNA of innocent young people
Figures uncovered by the Liberal Democrats have revealed that over 1 million young people have DNA samples taken from them since 2000, including 63,000 in the West Midlands.
