A pioneering Affordable Housing Policy, developed by South Shropshire District Council whilst under the leadership of Cllr Heather Kidd, was adopted for the whole of the County as official policy at the Council meeting on July 16th.

Long established Clun councillor, Nigel Hartin, has taken over from Peter Phillips as the Liberal Democrat leader at Shirehall. Well respected Peter Phillips, who has been a county councillor for Bishop's Castle for many years, was thanked for his tireless efforts and the great acumen that he had brought.
