Responding to the release of the latest NHS Wales data, Welsh Liberal Democrat Leader Jane Dodds MS said:
Alison Bennett, Liberal Democrat MP for Mid Sussex, and Ben Dempsey, the Lib Dem candidate for Sussex Mayor, have condemned to the Government's statement on allowing County Councils to request the cancellation of elections in Sussex.
In today's New Statesman, there is a rather reassuring post for us from this Labour-supporting journal.
"First, the May 2025 county elections were delayed with the promise of a new Mayor. Then, government cancelled Mayoral elections. Now, they are inviting the Sussex Tories to help them finish the job by 'requesting' a further delay to county elections."
The Army Training Regiment Winchester, which puts about 20% of new recruits through basic training, is due to be shut next July.
