North Herts Council passed a motion on Thursday 23 April aimed at protecting the district’s precious chalk streams. Liberal Democrat Cllr Tom Tyson presented the motion, which was seconded by Cllr Louise Peace (LD).
Tom Gordon, the Liberal Democrat MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough, completed the London Marathon this weekend, setting a personal best and doubling his fundraising targets in aid of a national health charity.
Lib Dems Jen Simpson & Cllr Frank O'Kelly regularly help out on Sundays with other Cippenham volunteers to clear litter & fly-tipping, & streams, as widely as they can in Cippenham. Jen says: "doing what I can to look after our environment matters to me"
